Featured Old teapot

    English I think with pewter lid? Is this agateware or something else? Age/maker/country; the usual :)

    It isn't agateware, looks like it may be an all-over transfer?

    I would say English but mid to late 19th century.

    Agree not a chance Georgian. most likely LATE 19th c

    Maybe around 1870? I have a similar size and shape teapot that V&A puts at 1860-70. I do wonder about the way it was decorated - it doesn't have the seams I think I always see in transferware - the only discontinuity in decoration is where the handle and spout attach.
