    Funny thing, Back when this first came up, I was wondering whatever happened to the glass-cased "pendant or locket that doesn't open" framed in "gold" metal with a lock of hair inside (some blondish, some brownish) that I remembered my mom having. I don't remember her wearing it, but I was pretty sure it had been among her jewelry that we split up several years ago. While looking through the box with my "share" of her jewelry this afternoon (looking to see if I had a bar pin like the one on another thread), what do I find? The hair locket!!

    We had a piece of art of a sleeping baby, looked like it was done in pastels, with real curly blonde hair. I didn't even want to study it because it made me feel weird.
