The problem with this sheet music is, that doesn't look in the slightest like Max Steiner. There's no X, and the first name is more than 3 letters, and the last name seems to begin with an L. It's not the lyricist. I did a search for authenticated Steiner autographs, and came upon an 8 x 10 of him inscribed to a sound recorder. His signature also didn't look like his name. But, it was. What's more, it's extremely similar to the uniqueness of this signature. I bought the piece and sure enough it's Max Steiner's autograph. He signed it Maxie. I paid under $7 for an autograph worth over $900. This is getting a special mat and be hung next to my Hank Williams Sr autograph.
