Oriental metal bowl cold painted Id help

    I was hoping to see if anything could help me identify this oriental metal bowl that's cold painted. Its got symbols on the side and its carved on the bottom of a seated person. Any info would be great thanks!

    I don't think it is Asian.
    Mid-East maybe. Isn't that writing, not just squiggles, on the outside of the bowl

    It looks like script from Nepal, though I'm not sure. I know Nepal has singing bowls. Or maybe Tibet.

    Or Nepal, Tibet. It's the Hindu equivalent of Catholics using Latin. ;)
