This probably isn't "tribal" but this forum seemed like the best place.

I've had this since the early 2000s, so assume it was made in the mid to late 20th century.

Does anyone have thoughts on what country or region it's likely from? Would it have been a tourist piece?

Guess- most decorative carving these days is from SE Asia, Thailand or Phillippines

Yep - Phillippino decorative piece, probably. It'll look good on a book case or wherever.

    Thanks, iPacific and evelyb. :)

I almost asked if it was Phillippino, but figured I didn't know enough to even guess.
