Origin of pin and a condition question

    Not a craft piece, I say. I've several of these with nigh on identical construction. Flowers, bugs, whatever.

    Thanks for the info, Bear. Does the material inside the wire wrapping appear to be paper in your pieces?

    The brooches don't have anything but that fine wire. The pair of earrings has what might be very thin shell or possibly paper, I can't quite decide!
