Featured Owl pottery coin smash bank

    Found this at a booty for 50p, probably half full of coins (that do not want to come out)

    He's gotta be too nice to smash for some coppers though I think

    1 came out and it was a 1970s 1/2p

    So do ya reckon about that age or earlier ?

    Any thoughts appreciated

    Have you tried sticking a THIN but WIDE metal nail file in that slot??? Usually works for me with those stubborn banks!!! And HE IS A CUTIE!!!!!!!!!

    EDIT: Charlie.....I forgot to add PATIENCE....you'll also need a LOT of that!!!:happy::happy::happy::happy::hilarious::D:p

    He is very cute though he looks like he might (or might not) have a chip on one eyeball. Are any of these areas incised marks when you have it in hand?

    No, think it's scratches, chips etc

    Got most of them out, not just 1, 2 and half a p' but......:greedy::greedy::greedy:
