So I deleted them all...........duh!!

Of course after the fact I discovered the Preview button.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that I do it correctly next time.

I wanted Quirky to see the inside of my box as it too is still light in color, and I know for a fact that my box is antique or close to being....a little different style than hers, but similar construction.

When double photos happen put your cursor at the lower right of each dupe and backspace.

 

The light interior is probably due to the fact that it wouldn't have been open to air much, thus not much chance of oxidation. Some old things are pristine because they were hardly ever used. About the nails, I just remember that you can narrow down dates by whether handmade or machine made. Machine made was somewhere in the 19th c. I think, but don't quote me on that!

 

And some things loved SO much that they were stashed away in a suitcase or whatever and will hardly show age.
