pair of 925 sterling wine testers apple shape idea of age...origin?

    and a good saturday to you! lovely, sunny 58 degrees in CT.

    picked up these 2 yesterday at a great price....i thought they were salts at first...now i think they are wine tasters. love the apple shape!

    monogrammed...N. A....2 3/4" across.

    any info would be so nice...i see some of them are quite pricey.

    I'd suggest they are too small and not deep enough for wine, and may be nut , sweetmeat or mint dishes.......

    I'd say 50's or 60's.....but that's a guess...

    Not tastevin -- too small and wrong shape. Something for the bridge table. Nut dishes, ashtrays. The kind of thing a bride would get (a set of) as a wedding gift. And 1950s-ish.
