Featured pair of japanese ? cobalt blue/enamel porcelain vases

    hey folks

    found this pair of porcelain vases today, thinking japanese ?

    any info appreciated

    Yes, Japanese. Look at the "Dai Nippon (Great Japan) Printed Marks (1920 - 1940)" section on Gotheborg and you will see the first 3 characters within the blue circle of marks (starting at about 3-4 o'clock on the bottom of your pieces and reading clockwise) illustrated. I suspect that the blue marks are for the maker of the blank and the red ones in the middle are for the decorator.

    the mark it say Ishi Shichi Go it means Stone Number 7,and yes it is japanese like @Bakersgma said,good luck!
