The coon cat, or as I used to call mine the coon rat, probably found it first. They're excellent at finding trouble.

My last cat was a Maine Coon, too. I know whereof you speak. ;)

Late 30s-40s and a mish-mash of styles. The plug is a common replacement type available for decades. Hard to tell wood from these pics. Either mahogany or walnut veneers with solids stained to match.

Is it rare, I’ve never seen one quite like it? Also, do you think it’s possible to determine if made In Boston by claw foot style?
I thought it was late 1800’s

Absolutely not late 1800s since electric lighting was in its infancy then. Have seen a lot of these from the 30s-40s. Usually more art deco in styling but sometimes more traditional like this. Not possible to say it is from Boston based on the foot. More likely made in Grand Rapids.

    What’s it worth 2000 plus/minus?

brown furniture is at an all time low , as values are concerned.........so 2000 minus....

Last similar lamp table (more art deco than yours) I had here in my Midwest retail location sold for $45.00.
