Here are the remaining pins/pendants from old garnet jewelry collection. The long, dangly one is the pin that started it all! A couple of these are small, but look cute when you were them as part of a group of pins on a jacket.

I have 4 bracelets. All simple like this. This one is my favorite!

The only thing on my wish list is a big, encrusted garnet cross. Maybe someday!!!

These are fabulous! I can see why you collect them:) Are they all from the same time period?
I've never come across any, maybe one day I will!

Thanks!! Not totally sure about age...I think they are all late 1800-1930s. The pins are C-clasp. Though many I wear as pendants.

I had a white satin collarless russian style peasant shirt in the 80s that I would have used to sport that long brooch ! I LOVE that one !

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

*MY* favorite is the crescent moon with the star!

I would put them all on at once and toast myself with a nice Merlot.

These are fantastic. I, too, have never run across a piece like this. My birthstone is also garnet.
Now that I am looking, maybe I will find one.

Beautiful pieces Karen ! Once you spot these 'in the Wild' so to speak, they catch your eye and never let go. I'll have to get into my jewelry that's still packed away and take some pics.
They still make this type of jewelry in the area but there's subtle and distinctive differences in the old vs. new.
Once you hold a piece of the old you're hooked.

Wow, thanks for sharing. They are beautiful! :)

I've never found one "in the wild" as they say, either. Hoping to one day!

I did in a weird place - a fundraiser for kids in the next town over. It was a big tag sale and I offered more money than they were asking. They were bought for resale, but they've gone into hiding in the deepest part of my hoard ... collection ... and they don't want to come out for the camera. That way they can't find themselves being sold.
