Ward. He was a contemorary of William Chandler and was active in the Cape Ann area. He was also employed by the art publisher Tabor Prang that was based in Boston and active 1900- 1930 or so. The art is in first rate condition and the frame is classic art deco,it has its original wavy glass. I'd date this piece to about 1925 or so.The dimensions are 20x12 framed and 15x7 artwork only. This is a quiet and subtle piece of art from a very rare collectible American artist."</p><p><img src="https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/images3/1/0313/23/moonlit-seascape-pastel-d-ward_1_7ec1ec9b0aafb247d057f1fa4787d13a.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /></p><p><img src="https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/images1/1/0313/23/moonlit-seascape-pastel-d-ward_1_7ec1ec9b0aafb247d057f1fa4787d13a.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" />[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
