Beyond strict-Marc would sit there and pick and choose-“you can come in, but your friends can’t”. Looking back it was pretty nauseating but of course I didn’t see it that way back then.

only name that rang a bell here is Cara Croninger. I think Mom had some lying around from her xmas stays in NY.

 

I was there in 81 or 82, which was after the reopening, when things weren't as wild.
If in those days he still would have had to have something to offer besides money, there was one name which tied our group together, which he could have used.
I know he didn't know this person himself, but he did know we were all connected to her in some way.
