Patriotic Brooch WWII Era Eagle

Got an eagle pin, WWII era sweetheart brooch probably. It appears similar to others that are identified as from Boucher, but not quite. The markings on back are a bit odd. One side has what looks like a backwards E DARGY and an H. The other side has the letters SUN or SJN. Now, if you start with H and flip all the letters to the same orientation as the E at the end, you'd get HYGRADE. There was a jewelry company in the 30's and 40's called Hygrade Jewelry Co.

Not sure what's going on there.
