Pearls and Chinese Carved Stoned Necklace

    Any idea what the stones are? What do we have on the pendat, an owl on one side and ... on the other? Old, recent?

    Seed pearls were popular in the 1980s -90s.
    Looks like amethyst, although maybe not the best. Too many fracture(wrong word) lines.

    Sorry, can't see detail enough to tell you what the engraving is supposed to be.

    I also thought some type of quartz. The big image is definitely a bird but the smaller one I can't tell.
