Here's a cute little silver footed cup or bowl. It's 6 1/2 inches across by 2 3/4 inches high.It looks hand-crafted with a hammered bowl, cast handles and feet.I can't find any marks, stamps or signatures on it .My wild guess would be it's Peruvian, but who knows ?
Any info will be a great help-thanks !

    Fun bowl!
I get a South American vibe from it too. Peruvian or Bolivian, perhaps.

I get the same vibe from it.The little animal handles are to goofy to resist.

Not yet-I've to order a basic metal testing kit online, just have pick one.No mark or stamp so far.I like the hammering & casting qualities-sophisticated yet also primitive.Seems they were imitating a European motif but with indigenous forms & the feet aren't evenly spaced.
It's fun & intriguing-my fave kind of find.
PS-Here's a few similar bowls I found online.
Pic#1 spoon handle that's vaguely reminiscent.Pic#2 shows the scoring (cross hatching) in another piece's figural handle

I thought so too. Dolphins perhaps. A modern twist on Spanish Colonial. This was sold at an auction a couple of years ago as Spanish Colonial, possibly Peruvian or Bolivian.

It does look that Finn-seems more refined than most of the Colonial workmanship.

Even the legs on the bowl look vaguely reptilian. The critters look like geckoes. I'm not sure where those are native to, but they've found a home in a lot of warm climates with lots of bugs for them to eat.

The old European handles known as dolphin handles could look pretty lizardly… and turn into full ones after crossing the Atlantic.

They look a lot like Celtic sea horses to me. You know - those funny little things that look like sea horses?
