I know next to nothing about furniture but inherited a number of antique & vintage pieces from my mother. I think this pedestal table is one of the antiques. 27.75" x 27.75" top. 29.25" H. Do you call the feet "claw feet," "lion feet," "paw feet, " or what? What kind of wood? Any ideas on age? Value? My mother (1920-2017) told me she got some of her antique furniture from her older sister, who inherited from her father-in-law, but some of it was just sitting in pieces the basement and was going to be thrown out. Mom put them back together & refinished them. That was decades ago. Not sure if this was one of those pieces, but it could have been. The father-in-law owned the local brick company (NE Ohio). An appraiser told my mother that some of the other furniture from him was 19th century English & 19th century French. Of course, could be American as well. From searching the web, I thought the closest pieces were Regency tea tables, but those have features like flip-open tops & metal (brass) paw feet, & I doubt it is that old. I thought maybe a Victorian tea table, but I am totally guessing. Any ideas? Are my pic good enough? Are other details needed?
