    Pretty recent costume.
    The ends of her headscarf.;) I used to wear mine that way in the early 70s.

    It looks die stamped to me, not handmade but mass produced. @Hollyblue will know.

    Designed this a few years after acquiring the pendant. Was told by the seller it was made in NE China/Kazakhstan area, but she had no knowledge of the city/village.
    I added the Qing Dynasty silver bells, etc.

    Really lovely, Kathy. That is truly handmade repoussé, you can see the difference. The bells etc complete the look.
    (Btw, I think she meant NW China?)
