    Barry Friedman's book, Chasing Rainbows, Collecting American Indian Trade & Camp Blankets is a fun-to-read, excellent and useful reference, probably the definitive book on the topic.

    He's Pendleton's vintage blanket consultant, and would be the one to contact about this blanket, if you want an expert's identification. His contact information is on his web site.
