    I agree.
It may be the chains in now looking again, one of them does look like gold.
I will check exacly at how much The hammer went down, and add 30%, normally it comes to that when you add the auction house fees, internet charge, VAT and delivery.

Lot in picture 4 went for approximately £105 including the fees, but still I am wondering what is in this lot worth £100.

I’m not so sure that the Virgin Mary ring doesn’t have worn plate?. Or it’s a trick of the light.

That fourth lot is mad, I do not see anything worth close to that.

    Blue John was a bargain.

In pic three aren't those tumbled amethyst drops - where they have selected them as they go into the quartz? They look much more like quartz than blue john imo.

American mail is in a sad state....it's not so much about the lockdown. It's about the former guy having appointed a postmaster who's life has been about weakening transportation companies so they can cheaply be bought. He threw to dumpsters new sorting machines all over the country. The current guy can't fire him, but appointed 3 new oversight board members. Small business here is moaning.

I’m not surprised people aren’t happy over there. There must be massive postal mountains all over the USA and lots of disgruntled buyers blaming innocent sellers. I would definitely think more than twice now before buying from an American seller as I know I may well not get the item or it will take a very long time. No winners then.

This was fun, we should do this more often :)
Lots of very valuable information on Blue John, coral and jade fob.
    Thank you all.

The only part that would have been better if we had actually gotten to know for sure what items were marked & if any of our "guesses" were correct.:happy:

I can probably ask, there is no harm in it, I think, maybe they can disclose something . I will keep you posted.
Looking back to picture 3, I think we all agree it was the Blue John neklace. :)

Hello, I’m new to the forum. If I had that lot, the first things I’d reach for would be the bird. Enameled pieces depending on origin, can be quite a find. Next, the ring, the gold green fob, and the white metal cuff links or earrings with red stones, and I’d hope they might be spinels.
