I bought it at a garage sale 30+ years ago in California. I now live in Las Vegas, NV. I think the leaves are the original finish. The black splotch is ink or paint that looks like it could easily be removed with sanding. I would like to sell it. Should I refinish it? I have no experience but I'm willing to try if it will make a difference in the value.

I found what looks like the identical table on the internet in mint condition. Here's a link

    Any opinion is much appreciated, thank you IMG_5370-min.jpeg IMG_5373.jpeg IMG_5375-min.jpeg IMG_5380-min.jpeg IMG_5382-min.jpeg IMG_5384-min.jpeg IMG_5386-min.jpeg IMG_5388-min.jpeg IMG_5390-min.jpeg IMG_5393-min.jpeg

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

Danish, and nice light coloured wood is what u have going for you...
if the top is not a solid wood but , laminated..... sanding will kill it.
even then, an amateur job will likely devalue whatever value there is there .

The Vegas 2nd hand furniture market is unknown to most of us...... and this is not an appraisal site.........
You'll have to study your local market for ballpark vales..
    good luck !

The AM could well mean it’s made by Ansager Mobler.
