Featured Plique a jour dish

    I found this little thing today only to realise that it is a bit bent and cracked in places. Still, I was intrigued by it and had to buy it. I think it is chinese in origin. I'm not even tempted to try and straighten it as I reckon it will ping little pieces of glass/enamel all over the place if I do.

    Plique a jour or cloisonne?

    Very likely. I always love plique-a-jour, so I understand your decision to buy it in spite of the damage. @kyratango could repair it for you.;)
    I can see some of the blue background through the sides, so plique-a-jour.:)

    Would be tempting as long as it doesn't cost as much as the quote for my water colour restoration.

    Ps it only cost £5 for the dish so a bargain I reckon.
