    Hi Terry,
You the man!!!! I had all of the Polaroid cameras in the 1960s. That wet pad was to protect the photos coming out of the camera so they did not fade away in an hour or so. Later on they put the pad inside the film cartridge and it was done automatically.

Now, *crs*, all you have to do is find that camera.

    Hi Sue,

It is definitely a Polaroid image taken with a Polaroid camera. That is instant roll film which was produced from 1947-1992. I would say those photos are probably from the early 1950s but I can't say for sure what camera may have been used. It was likely a standard Land camera with a special lens attachment. I hope this helps!

That's really all they had for me.....was surprised it only took a day to get back too!!! Looks like you've also got other information now too!!!!! Here is where I wrote to: usa@polaroidoriginals.com

AND it kind of surprises me that they apparently didn't have a clue that it wasn't their camera that took the images......just the film pack!!!!!!

HAHA!!!! I already did that, said he has worked for Polaroid for 7 years and had no such idea of such a camera or that pack on it!!!! He was very thankful for the information from the Antiquers site!!!!! 'Members' of Antiquers got the credit, not me!!!!

We had Polaroid cameras. The sad part was if you didn't swipe the chemical pad evenly or there wasn't enough on it, your picture will either be streaked or vanish.
