Hello everyone - I'm sorry to post this on the jewelry board but I'm not sure where else to go. For some reason (maybe because they were shiny) I bought a whole pile of these polished flat rocks. My problem now is that I'd like to sell them but have no idea what to call them. I tried a google image search and came up with a Baltic clam. The largest is 6 3/4" long and 4" wide. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you! Don

Geode slices. Basically nodules of agate, sliced.

Agate slabs, like Bronwen said as I was typing.

I agree with Bronwen. Agate. Polished slices. Rock clubs often have events where people sell stuff. Try your local rock club. Our local club is called Searchers.

The crafts/artisan world is another market. I have seen them as: bases for small sculptures or carvings; wind chimes; parts of stained glass compositions, including kaleidoscopes; clock faces...

Thanks again! I thought these were used for crafts and jewelry but wasn't sure how. Now that I have a search term for them I see all kinds of things. Nothing as nice as that cameo though!

...you can cover a table-top with them and pour clear resin over:
