Featured Poor sad glass necklace

    Is it worth trying to restore this? I realise there's nothing I can do about the broken petal but the gold-ish pearly coating on the small flowers could be touched up? What do you think?

    Charming!
    Broken petal can be mended with nail gel UV resin, the gilt coating with diluted gold paint (but I love the distressed look of the actual!)

    Thank you! Perhaps when I next go into town I could have a look in the hobby shop at paint and see if there's a reasonable match. Then I can worry about whether I will mess it up and make it worse :hilarious:

    Well I got some craft paint, some bits will need going over again but as I wasn't expecting it to be perfect I'm quite pleased with the result :) Haven't attempted the replacement petal yet though. IMG_20230621_104619 (1).jpg thumbnail_IMG_20230621_104636.jpg
