Porcelain Declaration of Independence

I found this porcelain wall hanging of the Declaration of Independence in my grandparents' basement and have not been able to find any information about it online. The size is approximately 17” x20” and the only marking I see is the General Porcelain Enameling & Mfg. Co. Chicago stamp on the back. I’m not sure how old it is, only that it has been in their basement for as long as I can remember. Any information about this item would be greatly appreciated.

 

Welcome, IAdee. My best guess would be that this is one of the many items issued (or given away) in anticipation of the 1976 Bicentennial celebration. It might help to post a picture focused on the clipping taped to the back.

 

Bicentennial giveaway a very good guess. Font is consistent with that timing.

Thank you for your responses. I believe the documents on the back were added by my grandparents, as my grandfather is related to signer William Ellery. I’ve attached closer shots of the attachments. The General Porcelain Enameling & Mfg. Co. in Chicago was maybe a subsidiary of another company? Not much info out there about the company that I have seen.
