Porcelain pitcher maker ID, or hobbyist?

    Stands about 9 1/4" high. Hobbyist or ?

    I would call it an ewer and I do not believe hobby work. Hope this helps some.

    I tried looking up LR, which is what I thought its mark is, but couldn't find anything. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

    I'd say it's inspired by the Augustus Rex mark from Meissen - one of the most imitated marks. Not Meissen, but quite possibly German or Austrian. Very pretty.

    I think it was painted by a hobbyist.
