Featured Porcelain Trinket or Fairing Box

    Hello Everyone! I know it's unlikely I'll ever know the manufacturer of this box but there's a tableau going on here and I'd like to find out if anyone know if it has a title. I also would like to know the approximate age. It measures about 4 1/8" at its tallest, 2 5/8" across, and 2" deep. I think the top has an incised mark 2404 and the base 346. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much!

    Is this a fireplace, wood stove, or dressing table? :confused: More like a porringer & milk jug than tea, I would guess. How did the kid get up there?

    The first link Kiko posted shows the tiny bible inside! Most fairings are German made.
