Recently I purchased this large Satsuma fruit bowl (I think its a fruit bowl) as the makers mark stood out to me. Quite frankly I have never seen such a large makers mark on Satsuma, what I know about it just by looking at it is that it has the Shimazu crest on the top and it says 'Dai Nippon' on the right so I assume it is from the time of imperial Japan. Any estimates of the age and any information as to the rarity or re-sell price of the bowl is appreciated.

Early 20th century, late Meiji or Taisho. Dai Nihon, Satsuma Yaki (abbreviated), Gyokushu Ga. So painted by Gyokushu. It's a fairly basic design so it is going to be at the lower end of pricing, Gyokushu isn't one of the sought after painters.
