POSSIBLE PAWN SHOP GUITAR PURCHASE - IF SIGNATURE IDENTIFIED!

I found this Fender Stratocaster (Made in Mexico not America, but better than made in China) for sale at a local pawn shop. It has a signature but I can only make out Wayne(?) for middle name - can anyone tell who signed this?
PS - I'm sorry for pics; I can't seem to get my phone to email photos to me - so I took photos of my phone's photos as a last resort!

It's the Kenny Wayne Shepherd signature model strat. They go for somewhere around 600 on reverb.com over the last few years...

they're asking $350 - everything looks good; I like the racing stripes, but at that price it's up to the signature, right?
PS - I know phone screen is cracked (it's my 3rd phone & this is a Walmart $39 phone because I keep dropping/cracking screen!) - I'm waiting for my dad's old iPhone 8 to be unlocked (and I already had screen protector added!)

It's a printed on signature...its on every one of those model strats. That's what the signature in "signature model" means...

I think you're dealing with what they call a parts-caster there. That body is not the same as the KWS model, but it has the KWS headstock...someone has cobbled together a guitar from various parts.

 

So do you think $300 is good to buy (to resell)?

Now I'm seeing the racing stripes in other places too, so that looks okay actually. If the neck is straight and body has no cracks, all the electronics work....300 ain't a bad price.

 

Going back to check it - back has same super 250 strings sticker too
