Have had a lot of these old food jars over the years but none with marks. I believe that it is the same mark on side and bottom. Anyone know what it reads?

Hi verybrad. I'm so sorry I can't help you with this one as you help so many other people with your knowledge and wisdom. I also love the colour and the overall look.

It’s possible that the character on the right is “3.” Not positive, but then this is a utilitarian ware. I’m partial to the green hexagonal ones.
