But I AM curious about it, so please take a look. </p><p><br /></p><p>The pottery part looks newer than the electrical cord suggests. Bakelite switch on the top, and definitely an older cord. It seems so unlikely someone would install an older cord and socket if they were redoing a lamp, or is that what happened here?
