Well done with an I'd Owned! I have a teeny garden pond and my little frogs like to sit on things. I wonder if one of these would tip or sink from the weight and movement of frogs.

 

That's some lifelike ceramic work there ... Everglades pottery?

 

It should work just as well in a bathtub!

 

What a neat idea! My brother made a small pond in his back yard. I'd love to find a couple of the candle holder ones that he could use to illuminate his pond at night.

He and my sister-in-law do a fair amount of entertaining, and they'd be tickled to show off their pond this way. I haven't found any yet that hold candles though - seems like it would be a popular idea, so maybe I'm just not using the right search terms.

 

In a similar vein as komokwa's, I think this would be a neat runner up idea to get for him given that he lives in Florida.

The candle ones I have take tealights. I don't think a wee frog would sink them.

 

Ah, I guess I'll see what size frogs turn up this year. Last year they were wee but I've had middling ones before.
