Featured Potties: Blended Glaze Jardiniere

    Good morning all. Hoping someone recognizes the wonderful, blended glaze Jardiniere. About 11" diameter x 9 1/2" high. Thank you

    Agree that it's quite lovely. I don't recognize it as a Brush or McCoy shape so I'm leaning towards Weller.

    I started to put in my description that the brushed bottom reminded me of Weller but wanted to wait and see if someone was thinking along those lines also. :)

    Yes, that was one of the cues I used. I tried to get a very stubborn Yorkshire Terrier off my lap so I could check my Weller books but he won't budge. I will get to the books later tonight, though, and let you know if I find it.

    When I did a google photo search with your photo, it seemed that Weller was a possibility but I am not a pottie so I will let the experts answer.

    I found this b&w photo in Huxford's Weller Pottery book so it seems it is Weller.
