This 9" double vase is not marked at all.
Google image search only came up with Bethwood so i am just to assume it is?
$3.00 at a yard sale so really not that worried about any value.

    Thank you Kiko,
From what I have seen these were made and decorated pre Second World War. Late 30's to early
    40's?
    Any thoughts?

Lehner's entries on Bethwood and Weissman do not mention anything that adds the phrase Royal China to either name. The Bethwood mark is shown as all caps and was supposedly used as early as 1939, but was not registered until 1945.

That explains the Royal china but why?

Don't know. That isn't the mark from Lehner's either.

    So
Is my unmarked vase a Bethwood by Beth Weissman?

You do realize some of the image searches (of the plainer side) get Royal Worcester? Also, do any of the Bethwoods have the embossed bamboo leaves?

I didn't till you told me.
Interesting. Maybe they were purchased from Royal Worcester and decorated with the flowers.

Not Royal Worcester. Many factories made blush and ivory ware that is copied from or similar to Royal Worcester shapes. I've never heard of Bethwood, but these types of wares were made into the first quarter of the 20th c at least.
