Pretty blue glass, but - what's it for?

    The glass is 1/4" thick, the bottom is 2 1/4" square, the top is 2 13/16" x 2 15/16".
    It is 2 3/4" tall. No marks. The surface feels smooth but slightly textural, which I've tried to capture in the photos.
    It's too small to hold a votive or tealight candle.
    It looks nice in the sun.

    That would work. It seems rather plain compared to many - apart from the bubbles- but that is not a bad thing.
    It is certainly heavy enough that it wouldn't easily get tipped over !

    If it's old enough, cigarette holder? They'd put them out in a holder type dealio at parties sometimes in the 60s. Toothpicks is a better bet given the shape.

    I think you could call it "controlled bubble" since the bubbles are evenly spaced and sized. Gorgeous color!
