The pin hole is large enough in theory for virus to pass through. Unless you’re wearing a true fitted N or KN95 and goggles none of them seal but why add to the problem unless you’re only wearing a mask because it’s law where you live?

Sorry folks but this pin concept is beyond me.

In that case a dress clip or clip earring would work, they don't make holes :)

I was so confused when I saw this alert. I knew I hadn't responded to the thread & I was certain that I had nothing of value to add to it, so I couldn't imagine why I was being tagged.:confused::confused:

I am glad I could help raise you to such lofty heights!!!:kiss::kiss: :D:D

It's what I have for excitement these days, other than the occasional massive firecracker (have read any larger & you need an explosives license) that goes off out front now & then. One was so close I saw the flash before the boom shook the room. :nailbiting:

Is that an ejector seat in the background?

I am not looking forward to the next few days. Here in SC there are fireworks stands everywhere. They shoot them off for most holidays & sometimes just for the hell of it.:facepalm::facepalm:

Honey Girl has decided she does not like thunder or any bad storm. She knows the weather alert noise & if she hears even the first tone she is in a panic. She has also decided the safest place to be during said catastrophe is under my L shaped desk.:rolleyes: I have a small footstool I keep under there for days when my legs need to propped up. So I am trying to move the footstool out of the way & she is trying to barrel her way in from the other direction. All in all it looks like a 3 Stooges routine. :p:p:p :hilarious::hilarious:

I think I will just move it to another part of the room & save myself some grief. :D

Let the doggie double as the foot rest?

This weekend is nuts here on Cape Cod, we have lots of visitors. DH went for a drive yesterday and a local fried food place was packed, no distancing and not many masks. What the hell are they thinking!!!!!

We got takeout from Five Guys. Pretty darned good burgers even if they are a chain. My sister's dog (part pug, part terrier, part chihuahua and 100% Chow Hound) wanted his share too. He loves any food he can find, he wants the cat food too, but does NOT like thunder or fireworks one bit.

She would not put up with that for even a nano-second!! :playful::playful: :hilarious:

We ended up having a very quiet night all around. A friend came to dinner with her puppy in tow as always & had a wonderful dinner cooked by the DH. As we were sitting & chatting we heard the first rumblings of fireworks.

Honey Girl & my friend's Lucy Lou both raised their heads in concern, but it was muffled enough that no one freaked. It was interesting though that as we were eating our peach cobbler dessert & the rumblings were getting a little louder no one even cocked an ear.:rolleyes::rolleyes: :hilarious::hilarious:
