Featured Quartz or Glass - Ring from Finds

    If lucite (acrylic), would think a gentle tap on your teeth would tell, it doesn't feel at all like glass or stone.

    Here are a couple of gold-mounted lucite rings, the first with just the wires in gold, also marked both 14K and 585; the second described as Italian, but I can only make out '14Kt' in the pics:

    There's quite a bit of gold-mounted lucite jewelry out there, but it is much more common with sterling, often gilt, mounts, dating from the '40s to present...
