[QUOTE="dude, post: 4370529, member: 13170"]Hi everyone: I haven't found this particular Navajo woman subject, "Cheeta," yet online, but some of Gorman's art has done quite well on eBay. I think this is a basic litho. There's a stock number but no indication of a numbered series. Being a print, though, I'm assuming there are many more out there. This piece measures about 34 x 28" (the exposed art about 28 x 22"). There is some sort of stamp in the lower left corner. There are condition issues with the frame, including broken upper left corner glass and poor storage or transport nicks around the middle. There are some mold spots on the back as well. Any comments on value, de- or re-framing, or anything about the piece would be appreciated. Thanks! The glass in the frame has some issues and there is some mold on the back. If I decide to have my eBay guy list it, I'm afraid these condition issues will detract from sale price. Also, I've had problems with shipping pieces that are framed in glass. Honestly, I'm not even sure how best to ship it if I do get rid of the frame.
