Question #2. Asks for 3 conditions, lists 5 & if they consider how rainy a place tends to be a part of climate, location relative to a mountain range would come into it.

It definitely does - look at Oregon. One side of the mountains= rain forest. The other side = desert or pretty close. They also failed to account for urbanization. Urban areas with their higher levels of paved areas tend to be considerably warmer than surrounding farmland.

I suppose an argument could be made that man made conditions can be altered again, so contribute to weather but not strictly to climate. When you're living in the midst of it...

It's not much of a distinction for practical purposes.

    824/1000 reduces 4 times to 206/250 reduces by 2 to 103/125
This may be where I goofed.

Forgot to add that yes, I dropped the repeating numbers.

@clutteredcloset49, I want you to know you have me thoroughly cornfuscated, which I readily admit doesn't take much when it comes to most math:banghead::banghead::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::joyful::joyful::playful::playful::smuggrin::sour::sour::wacky::D:D:D!

    5.824

    Isn't .824
    824/1000?

You can reduce that 824/1000 by 4 to 206/250.
206/250 can still be reduced by 2 to 103/125.
No further reduction as 103 is a prime number.

    The thing is, 103/125 ≠ 89/108

So where did I mess up? Because I had it over 108 before reducing
