Real Capodimonte lamps?

    Welcome Danni. Yes that's what they were called. Nice pair. 1950's early 60's

    Usually marked Italy on he bottom of the porelain. You can most likely see it without taking it apart.

    REAL Capodimonte was made in the 1700s. These clearly are not. :rolleyes:

    Corect @Bakersgma . That is the term used for these lamps coming out of Italy, some even say Capodimonte on the bases. I've sold several over the years.
    But they are not true Capodimonte..

    Fiirst you need to look at sold prices as some are asking way too much. Most I've sold a pair for was $300, and that was on c/l because shipping woud break you lol

    Capodimonte is a place in Italy.
    So if it says Capodimonte on it then you can call it that as that is where it is from. Otherwise, my opinion is it should be called Capodimonte Style.
