Featured Real Cartier box?

    Found this today for a dollar, definitely real leather and has good weight. However, I don't know how to tell if it is authentic Cartier. The label inside suggests it to be vintage but the rest of the box looks too good to be older. What are your guy's thoughts?

    It looks good....but I'm having trouble finding the same interior...! :hungover::hungover::(

    this though...is close...but not close enough.....

    & for all I know...THIS COULD BE A FAKE TOO..!!! :wideyed::wideyed:

    Looks good to me. Cartier boxes no longer made of leather so certainly vintage. Second store (London) opened in 1909 so would have to predate that. Re condition, IMHE Cartier boxes and their contents tend to be stored carefully, not knocked about. And thank you for posting such clear, complete photographs, by way.

    My Cartier box is identical in most respects, but it's a ring box, and the inside name is presented differently:
