recent finds! Anybody have any info on age/origin?

I just picked these up! I love them

I was wondering if anybody might have insights on age and origin. The seller said they had inherited them from a parent so had no idea of their origin

the first is 900 silver and something like rhinestone - crystal diamond

the second is gold plated with some kind of black stone

 

The bracelet and earrings are Toledoware souvenirs from Spain.

I think they look more Damascene than Toledo Ware - they look inlaid rather than pressed and coloured, hm? Tourist pieces, indeed, 60s or 70s.

I'm not sure about the marchasites on the first one, it's hard to tell from the photo. @francoisedwards are the stones glass or do they look like silver colored metal?

The first one looks like rhinestones; they're clear and the settings look glued. The black on is damascene for sure. Odds are those black bits stick to a magnet.

 

Does the first one bear this mark?


If yes, it is from the Parisian Diamond Company, between 1896 and 1908.
I researched that mark for years, and finally put a name on it, read there:

Your piece was certainly a hair ornament turned into a necklace by adding the chains!

 

Oh, that one again! Yes, it does look as though the chains were added.
