    Yes, the side looks like it could be too. It is the shape of the stone, and the fact that it is so thin you would be scared to hold it. But once you've got it in your hand, it feels like it could last forever.:)
    And that very simple bail and clasp thingie combo, although that is very easy to copy.

    Chinese it ain't. The bail is too well-made, forgetting about the stone. The Chinese have made some similar-looking things, but not that well.
