Can anyone help me identify this set - or roughly when it was made? Is it old Ikea or some Danish design?

This is in the UK and it has been stored outside in a shed area for awhile hence the dishevelled look. Thinking about possibly having it restored.

    Thank you for any guidance!

Is that frame wood, or rosewood effect metal? Not Ikea. Screws are relatively recent. There's a good MCM Furniture UK Facebook page, might be worth asking there as well.

It's not the style of the Asian imports we see in the UK.

I'd rather see that in an aeroport waiting hall or small cinema.
