This has a label on the bottom, so I’m pretty sure where it was made. What I don’t know is when. There’s something about the lines of it that I like, and it seems to have held up well. I’d be very interested in learning more about this chair, oh ye of great knowledge and superior research skills.

    I would guess 1920’s or 1930’s, but that’s just a guess.

Believe it or not this company is still in business in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, as Richardson Contract Furniture. The've been in business since 1848, and now make mostly office furniture. Here's their contact information:

    635 Old County Rd. PP

    Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085

    Phone: 920-467-5942

    Email: wrodgers@rcjfurniture.com

You could write them yourself and ask how old the chair is. I imagine that they made many thousands of them back in the day, which was probably in the late 19th/early 20th century. I like the high, attenuated "neo Windsor" look of the back.

Hard to say since probably made the same way for decades. Old fashioned label makes me think pre WWII.

This chair does not have any antique value. I agree with brad, probably made between the wars. Free cycle is a good option unless you need a 20th century reproduction hoopback Windsor (with a broken hoop).
