    Hi folks

was a bit bent out of shape, but fixed it with a ring mandrel

cant work out what the stone is, thought was turquoise, but it is semi transparent

two small hallmarks on the back outside, top one is a three pointed crown i think

hoping its got a bit of age as well

    any thoughts info appreciated

That's what I was thinking too. There are other candidates, but there are probably more. Microcline, the technicla name, comes in blues and greens and blue-green.

30s, or 80s, or 90s, or.....? Hard to be sure, but I think it's later. The marks might give the game away if it has some.

It has some Deco style to it, but Deco came around again in the 80s. A 30s ring would be jade (if gold and $$$) or chrysoprase (in either silver or gold).

Looks proper Art Deco to me, and either amazonite or amazonite glass.
The Czechs (of course) made beautiful amazonite glass.

The open back probably means real amazonite anyway, although I'm never certain with that Czech faux amazonite.
Amazonite was one of those Art Deco stones. Looked great with Deco favourite onyx, just like jade did.

I never saw it used in old settings here, but I'm willing to learn. The ring doesn't "smell" that old to me, but as noted above.... (I think I sold a Neiger necklace about 15 years ago without knowing it was a Name, so knowing everything isn't one of my problems!)
