    Hey all:

Just scored this RJ Horner dresser to more or less match our bed. Both were made in Horner's shop in New York in the 1890s, both are Renaissance Revival, and both are executed in mahogany. They share features such as cabochons and scroll work, but they are not the same exact pattern.

Oh, and that's a signed Miller banquet lamp from the 1890s featuring dolphins; I've never seen another. Also, a set of Baccarat perfume bottles on a plateau mirror and a large vase with Mary Gregory painting ca. 1900 or so. That's a bit of a Hunzinger side chair from 1878 in the foreground.

    So now you know! Cheers!!
