    Not very old but thought it was cute.
    Most likely from the 80's
    5 1/2" tall salt glaze.

    Aside from the star in the circle in the bottom, can you tell what it says in the horizontal oval underneath the circle??

    The oval is the company mark. R.U.S.
    the star is the potters mark.

    I chatted with Peter from RUS on facebook last night. The artist potter is Elisabeth Goessling. The item made 1992-1994 was sold as a soap dispenser.
